Nuztai had begun to build a confidence he hadn’t had in some time. Perhaps this Nuzlocke truly would be different and there would be no losses of life. His new partners beamed with similar confidence and seemed proud to fight for their powerful new master.
Upon entering Route 3, Nuztai was met by Prof. Kukui, who instructed Nuztai on the powerful new z stone he’d acquired. He asked Nuztai to use this new power to find Lillie, who’d wandered off. Nuztai collected a Delibird, Crowley, and found his way to the Melemele meadow. After accidently slaughtering an Oricorio, Nuztai rescued Lillie’s pet and set off for his final trial on the island.
The big Kahuna of Melemele, Hala, laughingly welcomed Nuztai’s challenge. “We will dedicate our battle to the pleasing of our island god, Tapu Koko!” exclaimed Hala as they began their battle.
Nuztai led with his strength, and had Sam the Meowth use it’s z-power against Hala’s Mankey, leaving it critically injured… But Hala began to laugh a horrible laugh. Mankey picked itself off the ground and it’s eyes began to glow a vicious blood red.
“You’ve trigged my Mankey’s Anger Point ability! It’s attack is now maxed out! It’s time to shed some blood on Tapu Koko’s altar!”
Mankey raged forth, killing Sam in a single blow. Nuztai wept at the site, but chose to battle on, sending in Lillith in hopes of hitting with flying type attacks. But Mankey’s speed was too much, and once again slaughtered Nuztai’s pokemon with a single hit. Abaddon was chosen next for it’s hypnosis, hoping to stop the Mankey once and for all. It worked, and Abaddon finished Mankey off. Hala continued to laugh.
Next, Hala sent in Crabrawler, who led in with it’s z-move, dissipating ghastly into the wind. Nuztai was now 3 pokemon down, and instead of being saddened, he was enraged. Dean was sent in to finish the job. And finish it he did. Dean’s Disarming Voice obliterated Crabrawler, and made short work of Makuhita.
Nuztai fell to his knees as the weight of the losses overwhelmed him. Never had he lost so many at once.
Hala solemnly walked over and stamped Nuztai’s passport. No sooner had Hala handed it down, Nuztai snatched it, stood up and looked Hala in eye through his tears. Without exchanging a word, Nuztai snatched Hala’s ride pager and jumped onto tauros, riding off into the sunset…
Where will he go now?...
